To design a logo which would work in a variety of media at a huge range of sizes from social media to building signage. The concept of ‘country’ is at the heart of the Plough Hotel’s offering and, while already popular with walkers, they wanted to appeal to people taking part in other country pursuits as well.
The word ‘Plough’ is hand drawn to make it distinctive, with the corn at the end of the tail of the g creating a pleasing overall shape.
The colour is kept intentionally natural to tie in with the branding of other traditional country pursuit brands.
The design works well in a circular shape for the purposes of social media, but also works without the circle where needed.
