Higher education marketing experts, Pickle Jar Communications, commissioned me to design an advert for the back cover of the ContentEd conference programme.
Pickle Jar Communications were providing branded coffee cups for the conference, and wanted the advert to tie in with these. They provided copy for the advert which plays on the ingredients and processes involved in making coffee, but relates them instead to creating good content marketing.
I decided to visualize the process with the ingredients being added in stages along a pipeline. The graphic representation was kept very simple in order to leave the focus on the ingredients, with the pipeline being suggested by a simple line and pairs of brackets.
The colours, typefaces and style of the artwork were created in line with Pickle Jar Communication’s branding guidelines.
