To design a suite of printed marketing materials for Scottish Borders Heritage’s flagship event, the annual Scottish Borders Heritage Festival, including an events programme with a map of venues, a flyer, posters, banner stands and advertising.
I commissioned London-based illustrator, Kaylene Alder, to create a custom illustration for the festival, forming a unique visual identity within the Scottish Borders Heritage branding.
I standardized the structure and presentation of over 200 events listings for the programme, and used typography, colour, image treatment and page edges to create aid navigation around the 44 page document.
I applied the same style consistently across the other marketing materials.
Sarah Cowan, (Lettica), provided a high quality bespoke and professional service to Borders Heritage Festival in developing a new design and branding for the 2017 Festival against a very tight timeline. Sarah demonstrated a keen intelligence in analysing our complex needs and provided us with creative and cost effective solutions for our print and publicity. She was a real delight to work with and always delivered on time, or earlier and within budget.
