To design a site map for Dod Mill. The map needed to show visitors where to find their unique holiday cottage, treehouse cabin, or hut. It also needed to indicate site facilities and show suggested walking routes around the site.
Project notes
The buildings at Dod Mill are so individual and quirky that a flat site map would have been a wasted opportunity. Instead, I decided to draw each building using an isometric projection to show them off to their full extent.
I used flat icons to show the location of toilets, showers, firelighting materials, parking and bins. And subtle dotted lines show suggested walking routes around the site.
