Police Investigations & Review Commissioner, A guide for families

Heedi Design commissioned me to design a z-card for the Police Investigations & Review Commissioner. The guide is given to bereaved families, and needed to hold their Family Liaison Officer’s business card.

Project notes

Z-cards have the front and back covers on the same side when the leaflet is unfolded. This creates two separate but unevenly-sized spaces, so I began by working out the most logical arrangement for all the information.

On such a small leaflet the landscape format allows for a more comfortable line length for the text, but also complements PIRC’s landscape business cards.

Working within PIRC’s brand guidelines, I presented the text in a way which helps to clarify the structure of the information.
